Vino de Mocca

Folks come from near & far to get our Vino de Mocca, also known as ‘The Kissing Wine.” Mr. Kirigin always called it that... he said if you drink enough of it, you’ll be kissing everybody! To prove this, he would always kiss the ladies when he served it to them!

Word has it that he created this port flavored with coffee, chocolate, and a hint of orange (or, as our winemaker Allen Kreutzer puts it, “two beans and a fruit”) for his lovely wife, Biserka. She didn’t care for it. It’s gone on to be our most popular wine, and is only available here at Kirigin Cellars, through our website, at Allen’s winery, Drytown Cellars, and select retailers.

Ever charitable, Mr. Kirigin would sometimes hear of couples who were “trying.” He’d introduce the vino de mocca, saying it will work. Did it? Check out the baby pictures in our tasting room!
